Space Pals Branding Project

During my sophomore year, I had a semester long project for my GDES II course, which required coming up with a product and selling it.

I designed my product, which was crocheted alien plushies. My reason for this was based around the idea that everyone is unique, and people should not feel ashamed or "alienated" because of their differences, and the plush is a representation of that.

For packaging I came up with a display box, as well as actual plushies for sale with tags tied to them with glow in the dark stars on the strings.

Throughout this project I learned a lot more about what goes into product design, including the product, the audience, packaging, etc. This project also grew my interest in pursuing product design as a career.
