WordPress Project

For my Web Design Final, I had to make a website using WordPress, so I chose to make a portfolio site. I decided to design a one-page website as well, since I've never made one before, and it seemed to be a trend with other portfolios.

I made all my visual assets in other programs, being a mix of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Animate and Firealpaca. I got to animate both frame by frame and worked with tweening, the latter being something I had never done successfully.

I wanted to utilize clarity in the layout of my site, including my projects, information about myself, and social media. There were a lot of learning curves and figuring out flexboxes was always a challenge for me, so getting the layout to be consistent on other screens was something I could not do, but despite this I did learn more about designing a website. I decided to experiment more with web design and "redo" this project on my own terms to make a portfolio I was happier with, leading me to use Wix to create this portfolio you're viewing right now.
