PNG Tuber Sprites

My partner wants to get more consistent with streaming on Twitch, so I decided to help by making a set of PNGs of his character, featuring different emotions and reactions, such as a scared sprites for horror games, or angry sprites for the all too familiar moments of raging during competitive matches.

There were many layers to work with making PNG sprites, so folders were truly my best friend for this project. I separated the face and body into separate layers, and each sprite had its own folder. The sprites had 4 different variations, talking, silent, and a blinking version for each. I designed a total of 16 sprites among 4 emotions.

This project was a nice refresher of character illustrations for me. I’m used to working a lot with typography and iconography in a lot of projects, so it was nice to work more with character designs and organize them for videos.
