Twitch Branding

I was asked to design a profile picture and banner for a Twitch streamer. It had been a while since I worked with banner and profile designs and when I do it’s for YouTube, which consists of different dimensions than Twitch.

My source of inspiration for my design process was an anime aesthetic similar to Attack on Titan or Demon Slayer. I began sketching a character based around my client. Knowing that Pandas are his favorite animal, I chose to create a Panda Mascot for his Twitch page.

Getting to draw a character I designed is something I can’t help but enjoy. It’s a very nostalgic feeling for me, but I also acknowledge the branding skills that can be developed in doing this kind of design work.
